Not just another bed and breakfast in Windermere

Breakfast is served daily and is cooked fresh and to order. Start your day in your beautiful surroundings with Lakeland free range eggs served however you like them, or a traditional Full English Breakfast with Cumberland sausage and Lancashire black pudding. Alternatively, choose from our cold selection that includes Ann Forshaw’s Thick & Creamy Yoghurts,  Kellogg's & Dorset Cereals, Granola with Seeds & Low Fat Natural Yoghuty, Fruit Pots, Juices, Freshly Baked Croissants, Homemade Orange Breakfast Loaf & Mixed Toast.

In addition to our breakfast offering, we also provide all of our guests our divine homemade cakes and there is never an afternoon tea that isn’t improved by the presence of complimentary, freshly baked cake!

For eating out, The Hideaway is located just a 10 minute walk away from Windermere Village where there a fantastic choice of restaurants and bars. Bowness is also a 25 minute walk/5 minute taxi ride and there you will be able to choose from a larger selection of lovely places to eat.

Please note that the Reception closes from 5pm each day (we request latest Check-in by 7.00pm). We provide our guests with a front door key so they can come and go as they please during the evening.
